I left out the most important and famous character of all JESUS.He is coming BACK
When I first read your comment, I said to myself You know, he’s right about going Back. I would like to know the answer to that myself.
I shut my phone off as I was getting ready to read my morning devotion.
I was praying and asking the Holy Spirit for guidance but I wasn’t speaking about your comment, I was just asking in general. As I was praying The Lord brought few characters in mind that had to go BACK
Moses- BACK to Egypt
Nehemiah – BACK to Jerusalem
Naomi-BACK to Bethlehem w/Ruth
Elijah – BACK to Damascus
Then The Lord also reminded me of my son. Long story there but he is BACK where he made bad choices in his life but GOD is working with him there.
So it depends on WHO is sending you BACK . If GOD sends you BACK it’s going to give you victory and bring HIM GLORY and HONOR.
This is a beautiful video, but I fail to grasp its message. The word, “back,” hung in my mind, and I wonder if going back is ever the right thing to do. Even if one backslides, he cannot go back to his walk with the Lord. Rather, he must proceed into his new life, turning away from the old one that failed him.
It depends on what we’re going back (returning) to. If we’re going in the direction of sin and then repent (which, according to the last rector of my church, means to turn around and go in the opposite direction, not just stop going in the direction we’re going) but then later turn and go back in the original direction (“backslide” in this instance), that would definitely be the wrong thing to do. But the inverse of the preceding (going in the right direction > the wrong direction > the right direction) would make going back be the right course of action.
Perhaps I’ve misunderstood your point.
